Poor thing, I would be tired of eating the same thing as well. This is where creativity in the kitchen comes handy. Over the weekend I told Kira she can have a treat, very consciously she told me mommy but my stomach and I just told her that it would not be a problem. She was eager to help and then eat the bread pudding bites that I was talking about.

Bananas are a very interesting fruit and they have dual effect on the intestines, this is why it’s a good practice to eat them frequently but in moderation to keep a good balance. The following is a very easy simple recipe made using only 3 ingredients and the oven.

Ready in: 30 Minutes (5 Prep - 25 Bake)  |  Serves: 2 - 4  |  Complexity: Very Easy
Ingredients
  • 2 to 3 Not fully ripe bananas
  • 6 to 8 slice of bread
  • 1/4 Cup Lactose-Free Milk
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F degrees or about 180 C
  2. In a medium size bowl cut into small pieces the bread
  3. Add bananas and Lactose-Free Milk
  4. combine well
  5. Make small bite size balls and place in a non-stick mat or pan
  6. Place into the heated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, turn them over and cook or another 10 minutes.

Serve and snack away...
Kira was happy to have been a part of the making of her sick day treat, and she enjoyed eating these Banana-Bread Pudding bites.

Remember to have fun in the process!!

I have to say that these look good. I like anything with banana in it anyways but what a good treat and food to be able to give one of my kids when they are not feeling well.
