By the way you can make a large batch, freeze the leftovers, when you feel like drinking a hot cup of cocoa, scoop a couple of spoon full into a cup, run in the microwave for 2 minutes and enjoy.

Ready in: 20 Minutes (7 Prep - 13 cook)  |  Serves: 4 - 6  |  Complexity: Easy
Ingredients
  • 4 chocolate tablet (We use Embajador)
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp Allspice

  • 2 Small cinnamon stick
  • Dash of Salt
  • 3 tsp. cornstarch

Our little helper in the kitchen
Directions
This is not your typical Hot Chocolate
  1. Place a pot over medium heat add milk, salt, cinnamon, and chocolate; stir constantly until chocolate bars have dissolved.
  2. In a separate container mix evaporated milk with cornstarch, temper with some of the hot mix.
  3. Add evaporated milk mix and remaining ingredients to the hot pot, continue to mix until desired consistency. (it will thicken more after it's cooled down).
If you try it, I'm sure you will whant more and more. By the way if you use a different type of chocolate but you may have to add sugar (Chocolate Embajador is sweet).
Anyway let me know what you think
