While we have not used them under water I like that it does say that the lights can be submersed in water which can be nice if we had a fish tank or were planning a party with water ornaments.
The firs time we used them was within a costume where we were able to place the lights along the dress and even all the way into the crown. After that day we used them to decorate around the house, then wrapped them on a column in our porch, and last but not least they are going to be included in our girls upcoming birthday Party. My main critic is that it does not have the option to connect to a power outlet which would be nice for when using it at home, the second concern we encountered was that being so thin (which is normally a good thing) ones it bends it easily tangles up and it’s somewhat difficult to detangle.
The green connecting wire is very thin and flexible allowing it to be wrapped tightly on the specific project that you may be getting ready, and the battery box has an attaching mechanism to easily keep it in place.
If you are a crafter, like decorating or would love some lights at your house or a specific party, these lights are a good way to go. You may eve consider some of the other colors that they offer.
