That being said when my wife told me that we had been offered the Ozeri Prestige Electric Wine Opener for review I could not wait for it to get here. And as soon as it arrived I really wanted to put it to the test but we had to wait to charge it, and so we did.

Our Experience and Review:

The Ozeri Prestige Electric Wine Opener is modern, elegant, and it surely will impress your guest. It looks great standing beside our small wine collection in the cabinet bar.

First things first, chill the wine and charge the unite by plugging in the base to a wall outlet and placing the opener on it for the recommended 12 hours, a red light flashes while it's charging and turn green when it’s completely charged (done over night). The second thing I did (the next day) was to prepare the cheese and appetizers for the cheese and wine night with my spouse ;). Opening the wine was quite easy, just put the bottle upright in a table, position the Ozeri Prestige Electric Wine Opener securely on top (make sure to hold onto the bottle and the wine opener to keep both stable). push the button down and wait until you hear the Ozeri stop, lift up and that's it, the cork is out. To release the cork from the inside of the wine opener just push the button up and in seconds the cork pops out. the last step, pour two glasses of wine using the bonus wine aerator, sit down and enjoy.

I like the included foil cutter, is impressive how easy it is to cut the bottle foil wit it, it just took a couple of seconds to remove the top part of the foil. The wine aerator is a nice bonus, it helps bring out the body and aroma of the wine, and it make it easier to pure. It is definitely an upgrade from the manual corkscrew we normally use, and my spouse and / or guest get a taste of the wine much quicker.
