It's fun to go from blog to blog and read the different answers from each of our bloggy Friends participating in this event.

Did you know this about me?

1. What was your favorite book to read as a child? Would you recommend it? Why?
I love reading and this has always been this way, I don't think I had a favorite one, I remember going through stages for some time I enjoyed reading books that had to do with animals, poetry then it was all about mini story books, I read many times "Juan Salvador Gaviota" and lot's of others.
2. What sport did you play in high school?
While I was in a volleyball team and really enjoyed it, I would also just for fun play basketball and some other local sports.
3. What is one prominent childhood memory of yours?
Family vacation: we visited an amusement park I was probably about 5 years old and got lost, I surely don't remember all the details about the trip but I do remember that specific moment when I realized that I was all alone, I approached a booth and this lady was so sweet with me, called security and staid with me until my parents came back for me. It was all a happy ending.
4. What were your dreams as a child?
As children we all have so many dreams, I'm no exception I wanted to be famous, sure I am but only in the eyes of my daughters. I wanted to write (I guess in a very different way now I do); and I dreamed about having kids and now I know that dreams can come true.

Another thing I do remember and I still have hope to do this is to make a significant difference in or for a Not-For-Profit charity.
5. What did you want to be when you grew up? Did you fulfill those aspirations?
I think I was just about 10 years old when I said I wanted to design mainly buildings, by then I did not what profession that would be, shortly after I learned that Architects design buildings so I said I wanted to be an Architect, sure enough I did both a bachelor and a masters degree in Architecture, I worked for 12 years in the field until I was pregnant with our second baby.

These day's I'm a SAHM with two little girls, I volunteer for charity and write this blog. If you would have asked me I would have never guessed.
Now you know a bit more about me!

We would love for you to participate!

RE: Five Among Friends 9
I think it is awesome that you actually got to live your dream of being an architect. I know that feeling and was just so fortunate to get to be a teacher after all those years that I wanted to be one. Even though now I like you am a SAHM, I at least got to live my dream for a bit. But am also happy to be right where I am now with my girls!!
