Phrase or Tip? Phrase or Tip? Phrase or Tip?

This is our new Segment, each week we will feature either a Phrase or a Tip.
When a Phrase is selected we will post a phrase with the author if known, and discuss our interpretation of such phrase.
If a Tip is featured we will give you the Tip and tell you it's benefits.
Come back every week to see if you can guess on what would be featured.
This week we are starting it off with a Phrase, here it is:
"If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else."
Booker T. Washington

When we are down sometimes it's easy to forget how to lift ourselves up, sometimes we dig ourselves more and more into a hole without even noticing it.
I agree with Booker Washington when he said "If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else" I always feel happy when I do sometime nice for someone else.

Sometimes it's to a stranger, and does times in a way it's even more gratifying. Also remember that simple things, gestures or manners can make a big difference.
So next time you are feeling down, go for a walk or to the store you may find that someone that needs your hand.

What is something nice that you have done for someone else?
