Tuna Squish

It’s exciting to get new and innovate products to try out and provide our feedback, today's featured product is certainly something out of the ordinary base on a vary interesting idea.

There are many Tuna lovers out there, and regardless if you really love it and have it every day, eat some now and then, or just prepare it for others in you household, one thing that I have come to find out and I do think that we may all have in common is that we don’t like the stinky smell that remains in our hands after handling tuna.

I would have not thought in a million years, that someone would come up with a gadget that would help you deal with a can of tuna and not have to touch the tunaat all. The Tuna Squish really eliminates the problem of the tuna smelly hands and now we never ever have to touch the tuna with our hands, unless you are the exception to the rule and you do like the tuna smell.

I receive the Tuna Squish for review and it was actually not what I expected, I was a bit disappointed that I was not able to open a tuna can with it, but instead I have to use a can opener and then place the can in the tuna Squish to remove the water/oil, regardless I decided to give it a try and see how well it would perform.

Below you may see a bit of the Tuna Squish in action:

The Tuna Squish is made out of plastic, has a form simulating a tuna, blue in color, and the great thing is that it actually does what it was meant to do. It’s a very simple to use no manual needed product.

Here is how it works:

  • You place the open can of tuna in the Tuna Squish and close the handles
  • tilt to drain the water/oil
  • lay flat and separate the handles
  • magnet in upper handle lifts lid off can, remove the tuna can
  • Close the handles, turn it side ways and press the button on the top lid to drop the lid without having to never touch it.

I am not sure how much I will end up using this product, yet I really like the concept and the fact that I don’t have to dig for the can's lid and get my hands all dirty of tuna water/oil on the process.

I don't like mayo so to hide the taste of the mayo I always add horseradish, celery salt, and Worcestershire sauce to my tuna. It taste excellent this way.
